*Your Review:: I've been eating this stuff for years...and have several bottles on hand all the time. As for the poster that wished there was a hotter version, there is!! :) This is the green capped bottle. The yellow capped bottle is a bit hotter, but still has the great taste. Highly recommend and it is very versitile !! - Webendowed
Taste Opinion: HEAVENLY!; Heat Opinion: Medium

*Your Review:: There are two sauces that have to be in my pantry. Sriracha and Cholula. I would love to see them packaged in smaller more portable bottles so you can take your own stash into resturants. I used to do that with crushed red peppers into pizzarias before they became standard. - Name not provided

*Your Review:: Started using this at Big Burrito in Kailua, Oahu in 1996.

I love it!!!! - Juanito

*Your Review:: This is the Best sauce around. Great on and in everything. A perfect blend of heat, garlic and sweet. Adds a great spicy kick without overpowering the original flavors of the food it is used with. I give this sauce 23 stars(out of 11 stars!) - Rusty Shakelford

*Your Review:: The best hot sauce on the market. Not so hot that it kills other flavors. I use it on everything.Mix it with a little mayo to make a great dipping sauce. As the other person said, you will use this everyday! The heat level is really a personal opinion. I think it is medium, but I like really hot stuff. I think to an average person it may be hot. Enjoy! - Rusty Shakelford

*Your Review:: I've got more bottles of hot sauces in my fridge than I can count, but this is the one I've been reaching for the most lately. Great flavor, and just enough spice to let you know you're alive. I smear it all over chicken dishes, and breakfast omelettes. - Lightningdan

*Your Review:: I discovered this wonderful hot sauce about 12 years ago in the noodle houses here in Milpitas and San Jose, CA. I've tried other brands including srirachas imported from Thailand -- which tend to be a little hotter than those made in the US. Most of them are pretty good, but the Huy Fong Rooster brand has a better flavor in my opinon. Tabasco is much hotter, but has little, or no, intrinsic flavor. Crystal is very popular, but awful in my opinion. - Earl Schmitter

*Your Review:: this is the best sauce known to MAN! I love puting it in some ramen and spicing it up a little...or a lot i should say!!
i love it! - Alan
Taste Opinion: HEAVENLY!; Heat Opinion: Hot

*Your Review:: Great Stuff! It can be used on just about anything you want, without altering the flavor a whole lot. It also doesn't have that vinagar-y taste that a lot of other hot sauces have. I put it on pizza, burritos, eggs, chinese (chow mein LOVES the Red Rooster!) and anything else I want to add a spicy kick to. It even makes excellent dipping sauce for chips (mix with beans & cheese), shrimp (mix with cocktail sauce), vegetable plates (mix with sour cream & onion dip seasoning), and even fruit & dessert plates (mix with chocolate)! A wonderful sauce, indeed! Go to the Huy Fong Foods web site and order the trial pack for only $7. You won't regret it!

*Your Review:: one of the best sauces available - clean pure taste - John
Taste Opinion: HEAVENLY!; Heat Opinion: Mild

*Your Review:: One of the most flavorful, versatile hot sauces out there. Very robust, very addictive. Fresh chilli/garlic flavor. I first ran across it at a nearby Pho 75 Vietnamese restaurant back in 1997. I ordered a nice bowl of thai nam beef noodle soup, and as I ate it I think I went through half of bottle of this wonderful Sriracha sauce. Mild to spicy kick. Huy Fong Foods Inc. hit a home run with this one. - Paul Doyle
Taste Opinion: HEAVENLY!; Heat Opinion: Medium

*Your Review:: Yup-this sauce has gotta be the most all purpose! I wish they'd make a hotter variety as well. But this goes great on any type of food! Even sandwiches! (Great with Ives veggie salami & bologna! :) - Name not provided

*Your Review:: WE CALL IT COCK SAUCE ROUND THESE PARTS. THIS STUFF IS ACTUALLY A SAUCE NOT A LIQUID, ITS SOOOOO ADDICTIVE! I PUT IT ON ALMOST EVERYTHING. ITS GOT A BEAUTIFUL TASTE. YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED - BILLY

*Yes, this is one of my favorite hot sauces! The squeeze bottle and the consistency of the sauce allow for squiggly red garnishes on the plate or the food! Great for home chefs. Lately, I've been mixing it with good olive oil and dressing hot pasta laced with fresh vegetables. Just add grated parmesan! Try a chilled dry Riesling with this. Weird but delicious. - Reb

*This stuff is excellent. I use it all the time. However, anyone paying us$6.25 per bottle is out of their mind. Huy Fong Spiracha Garlic Hot Sauce costs like cdn$2.50 around here. - Name not provided

*I wouldn't normally take the time to fill out one of these things, but seriously, this is probably the best and most versatile hot sauce EVER! While you can use it on pretty much anything, it oges best on potatoes, eggs, and with fried chicken. Also, once you try it on pizza, you will never eat pizza without it again. I know I don't. - Ben
Taste Opinion: HEAVENLY!; Heat Opinion: Medium

*Love it! Can't eat pizza or hotdogs without it. If you are fond of Indian food, try mixing it with curd (yoghurt) and rice. - Hazcat
Taste Opinion: HEAVENLY!; Heat Opinion: Medium

*I just tried this sauce at a Hawaiian restaurant. It's an OK sauce. Zesty, garlicky flavor, which I liked, but a little bit too pungent; too much vinegar. Heat-wise, this deserves a 3 or 4 on my scale, not a 6. Still has a mild burn. I would infer that this is good on most foods, especially Oriental and Hawaiian foods. I prefer Dave's Garlic Chile sauce, though. Better garlic flavor and less vinegar, also not quite as hot. By the way, I've found this sauce in grocery stores. I've also reviewed Dave's Insanity. Use sparingly in order to add less vinegar and get the best flavor. Overall, this sauce is not anything stunning or bad, so try it if you want, but it's nothing really great. - A Beginning Chilehead

*Get the Rooster! This is a gotta have it sauce! Hot and flavorful. Warn your timid cousins that it is a slight kick up from what they may be used to. If you don't eat grits, get some so that you can try some Rooster on it. Now that's a way to start the day! - Name not provided

*Ah yes, Rooster sauce! Gotta have this with ANY Chinese food! If I am going to go to a $5 Chinese buffet, they MUST have this! Not bad on eggs in the morning either :) - Yimmy

*Gotta have it in my 'fridge - mix it with a little oil and crushed garlic (I am a garlic freak) and slather it all over your pork chops before you grill 'em. Add a pinch of sugar to the above and put it on salmon. Really nice, sweet and spicy. - Sparky

*Good all purpose sauce. I keep a bottle in the refrigerator and throw it on just about everything. Great with Chinese food, but far to mild to put on Thai. - Pepper Head Doug

It's my default hot sauce for pretty much all day-to-day foods. - Dudefish

*Having discovered "The Red Rooster" at a local Vietnamese restaurant, I now keep a bottle in the house as a dipping sauce for dishes ranging from eggrolls to fishsticks, although it would be good on almost anything. Serious chile-heads might find it weak beer but their brains are probably fried anyway. - Eric Krupin
Taste Opinion: HEAVENLY!; Heat Opinion: Medium

*Great stuff. This is a staple in US oriental restaurants. It's a good addition for Italian arabiata sauces and makes good wings sauce. The price is a steal! - David Netrangerrr Green
