Your Review:: Bought a bottle of this stuff about a year ago. Still got plenty left. Daughter's boyfriend came over for taco's one day. Her friend said he could handle anything and loved it hot. Well, after about 3 taco's with about a tablespoon on each taco. You could quickly see the pain in his face. Last time we had mexican he chose not to have the sauce. I imagine it took a few hours to get over the burn. Personally a 4 or 5 drops in chili will add nice flavor. - Ken

Your Review:: Well, I tried it and ... gosh, it's mighty hot. The mandarin oranges add a delicously fruity taste - wonderful! But, to my shame, I forgot to put the bottle into the fridge. After 3 days without cooling the sauce became somehow rotten. I heard a fizzling sound when reopening the bottle, little bubbles were in the sauce (probably carbon dioxide) and also a foul smell emerged. Obviously infested by bacteria. So my dear chiliheads - never forget to refridgerate your Brain Damage Sauce, as stated on the label. Damn, I need a new one. - Michael Pachta

I thought this one would leave me dusted but it hardly kicked up stones in passing. Also, the bottle looks like a penis. Crazy Jerry makes other sauces way up there in heat but I wasn't overly impressed here; heat was so-so, flavor OK. Gimmicky more than anything else & not memorable, despite the brain. Beter luck at an adult toy store. - Danno

Funny little brain on the lid is cool. The sauce tastes hot, but the preheat taste is not so good. If you like this, you'll love Blair's Sudden Death. Same heat but better tasting. - (optional)

This is great stuff.... Hot enough to keep you humble, yet not over-powering straight out of the bottle and onto yer chicken! A good one to have in your fridge, i'm buying another bottle as it took almost this entire one to learn how to use it ! - Frog

After reading the reviews, I was expecting a lot from this sauce. I can handle the heat but it doesn't have a very good flavor in my opinion. It has a very smokey taste that just doesn't appeal to me. I hope it will grow on me - Steed

Out here in the Pacific Northwest we use it on grilled Oysters.....nothing better. The only problem is that it's almost impossible to find. It definitely packs a punch but it also has flavor unlike so many hot sauces. - Gus

This is one of my favorite sauces. It's almost sweet, but not sugary or awful. I don't really like sweet things that much, so liking this surprised me a little. Anyway, it's thick, smooth, and really really good. I eat it on sandwiches, mostly, but have added it to chili, brushed it on chicken on the grill, and even added it to steak sauce for heating it up. All applications are good. - Gary
