I bought this not because I'm interested in heat, but because I am interested in trying flavorful foods from around the world. This stuff is DELICIOUS! I used it on boneless pork chops cooked in foil in the oven. I did marinate it 24 hours and it was just fantastic! I think you can use more or less depending on how much heat you want. Living in rural Iowa, I think this is the closest I am going to get to a vacation in Jamaica! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. - Mark
